हदगाव नगरपरिषद हद्दीतील विकास कामे अत्यंत निकृष्ट झाली असल्याच्या नागरिकांच्या तक्रारींची दखल घेऊन आमदार बाबुराव कदम यांनी मुख्याधिकारी व अभियंत्यांना गंभीर सूचना केल्या. सदर कामांची योग्य ती चौकशी करून निकृष्ट दर्जाची कामे होणार नाहीत याची दखल घेण्यास सांगितले. आणि निकृष्ट कामांची देयके थांबवून नियमाप्रमाणे काम करून घेतल्यानंतरच देयके देण्यात यावेत व यापुढे निकृष्ट कामे होत असल्याचे निदर्शनास आल्यास खपवून घेतले जाणार नाही अशी ताकीद सुद्धा दिली.
हदगाव शहरात अनेक रस्त्याची कामे नाल्यांची कामे अत्यंत निकृष्ट झाले आहेत अशा तक्रारी नागरिकांनी लोकप्रतिनिधी या नात्याने आमदार बाबुराव कदम यांच्याकडे केले आहेत. नागरिकांच्या या तक्रारीची गंभीर दखल घेत आमदार कदम यांनी मुख्याधिकारी यांच्यासोबत याविषयी चर्चा केली. मागील वर्षी मुख्यमंत्रीपदी एकनाथ शिंदे असताना हदगाव शहरात मोठ्या प्रमाणात विकास कामासाठी निधी आणला. तसेच शासनाच्या नियमित धोरणाप्रमाणे सुद्धा मोठ्या प्रमाणात विकास कामांचा निधी आलेला आहे अनेक कामे मागील दोन वर्षांपासून सुद्धा प्रगतीपथावर आहेत. या कामांचा दर्जा अत्यंत निकृष्ट असून काम पूर्ण होण्याअगोदरच झालेल्या कामाची वाताहात होत आहे. हदगाव हिमायतनगर या दोन्ही तालुक्याप्रमाणेच हदगांव शहरातील नागरिकांनी देखील मोठ्या अपेक्षेने आमदार बाबुराव कदम यांना प्रचंड मताधिक्याने विजयी केले. नागरिकांनी टाकलेला विश्वास सार्थ ठरवण्याचे आता आमदार बाबुराव कदम यांनी मनावर घेतले असून नागरिकांच्या विश्वासाला तडा न जाऊ देण्यासाठी येणाऱ्या तक्रारींची दखल घेतली आहे. यापूर्वीच्या नेत्यांनी काही विशिष्ट भागातच विकासकामे केली तर काही भागात विकास कामांना डावलले. हदगाव शहराचा समतोल विकास करण्याचा आपला मानस असल्याचे सुद्धा त्यांनी यावेळी जाहीर केले. परंतु आलेला निधी केवळ हडप करण्याचा प्रयत्न कोणी करू नये. याची जबाबदारी नगरपरिषदेचे मुख्याधिकारी आणि संबंधित अभियंते यांची असल्यामुळे कोणत्याही कामातील भ्रष्टाचार अनियमितता किंवा निकृष्टता खपवून घेतली जाणार नाही. मुख्याधिकाऱ्यांच्या निर्देशावरून सुद्धा कंत्राटदारांनी मनमानी चालवल्यास अशा एजन्सीची नावे कळ्या यादीत टाकण्याचे सुद्धा आमदार बाबुराव कदम यांनी मुख्याधिकारी यांना सूचना केली आहे.
